SOME MOMENTS AT LENOIR CITY SCHOOLS
I went to visit the Lenoir Schools with my friends on January 30th, and it was amazing. it was raining and the traffic was so heavy but it was a great time for me.
At the first moment, I went to the high School and all the teachers had a shot meeting with the teacher from the school and we visit the school. then we had lunch at the cafeteria and it was really tasteful!
In my school in Brazil, we don't have a cafeteria and that was for me a nuce place, where students can eat and share that moment.
after that, we went to the teacher's room, talk a little bit, and then, the group was divided, some teachers went to the elementary school. So, just we six, stayed there. Then, they invited to watch their English classes. how we were six, we went in pair. but I stayed at the teacher's room talking with the jounalist and with the head teacher about our Education System and how English Teaching works in Brazil, it was good, because we could see the differences but also the similarities about school, teachers, parents and students.
After that, I went to take a walk with an English teacher who showed me how the lesson plan works, and I could watch a little bit a class, where the teacher was working in a technology lab. The students were doind a kind of project and it was pretty interesting. And finally we visit the library and his class. One thing I was crazy is that the English class has smart board, projector, notebook and printer for the teacher works and it is his own class, just he works there and the students move but the teacher stay in that room with all ressources...AHHHH..if I could have one room like that, I will do many things, and I could develop lots of different activities...
So, in my opinion I was right about my expectation, everything is a new learning and share ideas with them was very good, I could feel like motivated to continuous my work in Brazil.
At the elementary school I loved the classes because they all are very happy and decorated, and the kids has a great space there and good support from the teachers and the school. One thing was very interesting to me that students who can't understand or read they have a room where they go, and there are two teachers to help them to do well in class, with lots of patience and tenderness.
So it is just a little thing I can tell you about my day at Lenoir School...bye..

The beginning... in Aquidauana/MS
After long time here I am, talking about myself.
I started to learn English when I was a child and I have been studying English since then. At the first contact I hated the language and tried to avoid and rejected the learning of it. My teacher, who was a native man and priest, made me understand and see how important this language was to me, and my mother gave me all support to study.
The days went by and I carried on, and I felt safe and confident and it made me to really love the language!

I have studied hard and graduated at a private university. I have practiced and improved my English day by day, but I still need to learn more and more, because more I learn less I know.!
I teach for different levels and I have taught English about 23 years, that is not too much and I have lots of things to learn yet.
I am teaching at two public schools: Escola Estadual Professora Dóris Mendes Trindade and Escola Estadual Cândido Mariano, but I still work at the Private English Institute and I also work in a Municipal School in Aquidauana,so it is pretty much, but one thing is very important to say is, that I do love my job and profession. At school I don't only teach, I learn to much with my students in our everyday classes...Speaking and Understanding English is not easy but I like it and I want to improve it each day more and to become a very good English teacher and speaker.
